# Messages Qtap sends for you
> The receipts your members get after a stamp, a points award, a redemption or a claim, and why they show up in your notification history.
Open **Notifications** and most of what you see are messages your team never typed. Qtap sends a member a short receipt every time something happens on their card, then files a copy in your history. Each one that was pushed reads **Sent: 1** because it went to one person: the member it happened to.
## What sets each one off

Your business name is filled in from your profile, and the numbers come from the transaction that just happened, so the member gets their real balance rather than a generic line.
## They can't be edited or turned off
There is no screen in the dashboard for changing this wording or stopping these messages. Qtap treats them as receipts for something the member just did, which is also why a member who muted your marketing messages still gets them. Mutes and the notification preferences inside the Qtap app cover campaigns and announcements. A member's own account activity sits outside them.
**Settings โ Notifications** is a different thing. Those toggles control the emails and pushes that come to *you* about your business. Changing them does nothing to what your members receive. See [Notifications settings](/merchants/settings/notifications).
If a member asks you to stop messaging them entirely, they can mute your business from the Qtap app. Their receipts keep arriving, because those are the record of their own stamps and points.
## When a row says "Not pushed"
That badge means the message was written to the member's in-app inbox but never reached their lock screen. Two things cause it: the member has push turned off, or they haven't opened the Qtap app on a phone yet, so there's no device to send to. Nothing is broken and there is nothing to retry. Next time they open the app, the message is waiting for them.
Two receipts behave differently here. A points expiry notice and a reward earned from a self-scan fall back to email when the push cannot be delivered, so a member with push off may get one of those in their inbox instead of only in the app.
The percentages on these rows need the same reading. On a message that went to one person, **Delivered**, **Opened** and **Clicked** can only ever be 0% or 100%, so they describe that one member and say nothing about your program.
## Deleting a row
The three-dot menu on any row offers **Delete**, and nothing else.
Delete takes effect immediately with no confirmation step. It clears the row from your history, and that's all it does: the member already received the message, and their copy stays in their app inbox.
## Who can see this page
Owners and managers. Staff accounts have no access to Notifications by default, so a team member who issues a stamp will not see the receipt that went out because of it. [Roles and permissions](/merchants/staff/roles-permissions) covers how to change that.
