Every stamp card and points program has a card details sheet that members open from the back of the card in the Qtap app. It shows how they earn, a few plain rules, your full terms, and a short list of questions and answers you write. Filling these in answers the questions people would otherwise ask your staff at the counter.

Where you write them

On a stamp card, both fields sit on the Card Design step under the Back card heading. Open a card from Cards, or start a new one, and scroll the Card Design step to the right-hand column.

On a stamp card's Back card section: the Terms and conditions box (1) and the FAQs editor, where Add question (2) creates a new row.

On a points program, the same two fields are separate cards near the bottom of the program form: Terms & Conditions and FAQs. The behavior is the same on both program types.

Terms and conditions

The Terms and conditions box holds up to 500 characters of plain text. Write the house rules a member should know: one stamp per visit, how long a reward stays valid, whether it can be combined with other offers. A character counter sits under the box. If you want a starting point, click Insert T&Cs Template to drop in a sample you can edit. It fills the box with a common set of rules so you are not staring at an empty field.

Insert T&Cs Template (1) fills the box with sample rules you can then edit.

Questions and answers

Below the terms is the FAQs editor. Each entry is a question and a short answer, and you can add up to four. Click Add question, type the question, then write the answer under it. The trash icon removes a row.

Each question (1) has an answer (2) below it. Add question (3) adds another, up to four.

A question with no text is dropped when you save, so an empty row never reaches members. Once you have four questions, the Add question button turns off and a note tells you four is the limit.
Answer the questions your staff hear most: whether delivery orders count, whether two rewards can be used in one visit, when stamps expire. A clear answer here saves a counter conversation later.

What the member sees

Everything you write feeds one card details sheet in the Qtap app. The live preview on the right of the editor shows it as you type. At the top is a How you earn line, then a Terms block with three rows Qtap fills in for you, then your Full terms text, then your questions.

The card details sheet: How you earn (1) at the top, the Terms rows Qtap fills in (gold), and your Full terms text below (plum).

The three Terms rows are built from settings elsewhere on the card, not typed here:
  • Valid shows when stamps or points expire, or “No expiry” when they do not.
  • Limit shows the daily stamp cap or the per-visit points cap, or “No daily limit”.
  • Where lists the locations the card is valid at, or “All branches”.
Your questions appear at the bottom under a Questions heading. Each one is a row the member taps to open the answer. Only questions with text show, so a card with two questions shows two rows.

Your questions appear under a Questions heading. The member taps a question to read its answer.

The full terms section only shows when you have written terms, and the Questions section only shows when you have added at least one question. An empty field simply leaves that part off the sheet.

Saving your changes

Terms and questions save with the rest of the card. On a stamp card, finish the wizard and publish or save the card as a draft on the Review step. On a new points program, click Activate or Save as Draft at the bottom of the form; when you edit an existing program, the same button reads Save & Activate. Editing them later follows the same path as any other card change.
